My 6 year old daughter, Makenzie, has been growing her hair out for a significant amount of time. She has recently decided she is going to cut it and donate 12 inches of her hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths. Makenzie is cutting her hair June 3, 2012. Done a lot later than they were supposed to be but better late than never. The girls love them and won’t go to bed without them… So glad I made them.

They’re supposed to be made of Gingham, but I chose a more fun fabric for Mak and a fuzzy one for Cadence. You can see how to make one here: http://www.marthastewart.com/852877/gingham-doll-family-how

(The hair was ridiculously hard for me - I highly suggest glueing on felt or drawing it on instead)!

I also made the one’s eyes too far apart but oh well, still love them and how much the girls adore them!

You lost your third tooth today. I cannot believe your determination, strength, and stubbornness to have the tooth out. I think I was more scared to tie your tooth to a string than you were. Thankfully, we were able to pull it out without any strings or doors. You are an incredible kid Makasaurus. You blow me away with your personality, you are one tough cookie.
