Our fingerprint reindeer Christmas card :)
Our Christmas Card this year!
Cadence-bobadence,
My little monkey. How you’ve grown. It’s incredible. I look at Leah and its crazy to realize you were her size not to long ago. You have accomplished so much in the last 27 months. I love your crazy dances and how adventurous and courageous you are. You are quite the stubborn and loud little girl too. Your vocabulary is just flourishing and we’re taking baby steps on this potty business. You still love Elmo and Dora and starting to get into “Marney” (Barney). You did the most hilarious thing today during Christmas photos. Mommy had setup a nice spot for you and your sisters to pose and of course, you were not sitting where mom asked. So you pulled up two stools, sat down in front of me, patted the other chair and called “Enzie” to come sit. She did and I got some quick shots of you smiling with your sisters (which is rare but it must be because it was your way). I’m excited to watch you at Christmas this year. I want to document some of the cute things you’ve started to say:
- I did it!
- Enzie
- Weah
- Weah, no.
- Hey! Nice!
- Marney
- Dora
- Boots
- I pooped
- I peed
- Juice
- Drink
- Grandma
- Nana
- Baba
- Potty
- Kitty
- Meow meow
- puppy
- woof woof
- neigh
- monkey
- baby
- hi
- bye
- night night
- ove you (favourite)
- chips
- pizza
- shoes
- oat (coat)
- fhree (3), four, eight, nine
- your alphabet
- outside
- play
- stinky
- feet
- Wadenz (Cadence)
- yay
- yeah
- no
- wun (one)
- what’s that
- why
- I like this - all done - up - down - inI’m sure I’m forgetting some. I love your wheezy laugh and your deep chuckle. Your armpits have become incredibly ticklish and you still love yelling, being chased, and “stinky feet”. I love that you go in to say good morning to Leah by climbing up onto the side of her crib and the loudest “hi weah!” or you just start giggling. I love that you come with me to put her to bed too. I also like how you tell her to be nice and tell her no for doing absolutely nothing. You’ve really taken to growling lately too. Kid, I couldn’t be more proud that you’re mine.
Love you always, Mom xoxo
Sort all my posts into Jessica Crap, Leah, Cadence, and Makenzie and use their own little blog space so they can have an online memory someday because mom is way too obsessed with technology and updates her Tumblr more than the baby books
Putting away laundry one day, I picked up a sock, put it on my hand, and started talking to Cadence. She loved it. She now wears a sock on her hand a good portion of the time and pretends it’s a cat… Even at lunch time
My Halloween babes!
I love these Canucks of mine

I used to read this book as a kid to my dolls and now, I get to read it to my daughter
Hot Summer Days
Ziplock bag finger painting - success for mom and kids :)
Makenzie’s last Sparks meeting was a family campfire. At first I was like: “me vs. 3 children and a fire? I don’t think so”
Then I felt horrible and thought: “it’s only for an hour or so… It’ll be fun”
So, we went and I’m so glad we did. Leah was pretty content the whole time, Makenzie was singing at the top of her lungs with her friends, and even Cadence made a little buddy.
It wasn’t until the styrofoam cups and hot chocolate were given out that the problems started.
The experience taught me how in control I can be if I want to be. I am extremely proud of my kids and their behaviour. I’m also so glad we now have that memory together.
